CROSSROADS DGC BIG ROCK, IL

I read a review on UDisc said the Crossroads Disc Golf Course in Big Rock, IL was a “$3 gem.” There weren’t too many photos of the course out there, but with a review like that I had to check it out (Spoiler alert — it is a $3 gem).

Other Notes: We loved this course, but it is a little rough on the edges in peak-summer. You could easily loose a disc on some of the holes and the poision ivy on the edges was up to waist-high in some locations. Keep it in the fairway!

I was blown away with how beautiful this place is. The course design was impressive. Some of the holes reminded me of Northwoods in Peoria and The Canyons in Lockport, but very unique in its own way.

Big Rock is not too far from the well-known Eagle Ridge Disc Golf Course in Oswego, IL and Jericho Lake DGC. Other than that, you really cannot find courses like this in the area. Big Rock Forest Preserve is also very close and has great hiking trails.
