FRACTION RUN CUP 5 SUNDAY

Fraction Run 5 hosted by Dellwood Disc Golf

Sunday was a completely different day than Saturday. This is the definition of spring in the Midwest. Cold and cloudy one day. Sunny with a chance of the unknown the next.

It feels really good to be photographing events again. Having such a long winter, I have really felt so out of place this off season. Being on the course again, it’s nice just to remember light.

Hosting a disc golf tournament in the spring is very difficult because mother nature has so many unknowns. It was really sad to loose so many trees, especially one of the big guaridans on 13 from the storm that came through the Friday before.

As difficult as it is to accommodate mother nature this time of year, the time is very short. I especially love all of the colors in the landscape and the light! I’m taking notes for next year… STAY FOR THE SUNSET! You’ll see why I feel this way in the photos below, or click the link below to go to the gallery.

Can I just say the hole 4 aerial… this spot is $$$. Why has it never dawned on me to capture photos from here before?! Maybe it really is difficult to capture moments from here with all the leaves on the trees and that’s why I’ve never done it before. I love this perspective!
