LOMBARD COMMON DISC GOLF COURSE

The Lombard Common Disc Golf Course is the oldest course in the Lombard area, established in 1995. This is such a classic 11-hole Chicagoland western suburb course. It is the second course that I’ve ever played (Knoch Knolls - as a 9-hole was my first).

They recently installed new tee pads and signs. Most of the holes are part of the original design. This is a multi-use park with tennis courts, soccer, walking trails, baseball and a waterpark. For the most part, the disc golf course has been smartly designed to not come into play of recreational park goers.

Lilacs play a big role in the town of Lombard, especially at Lilacia Park in early June when all the Lilacs are blooming! It is such a nice touch to see the purple baskets here that represent the Lilac flowers.
