Clash at The Canyons V AMS presented by Discmania

Four years ago, Dellwood Disc Golf opened its doors to the public on April 1, 2017. Clash at The Canyons was one of the first events they ran, Sean Callahan (of Dellwood Disc Golf) tells the story best in this article, if you click here.

What amazes me is just how much this event has grown in that time frame. I witnessed the Ledgestone Insurance Open grow from day one to where it is now and I honestly believe The Clash at The Canyons is on the same track.

This upcoming weekend is the pro-side and it will be on the Disc Golf Pro Tour as a Silver Series event. We are beyond excited. If anything, photographing and working the AM weekend was a wake up call for all of us.

This was a C-Tier, but Dellwood and all the event staff blew that mindset out the window because it looked more like an A-Tier or Major especially with the onsite doppler center on Sunday.

These pictures don’t do the event justice. You just had to be there to feel the storm break all around us and never rain until the last awards were given out. And there was a horse on the course (of course), I guess the photos of the horse give this justice because no one would believe that, but we have the photos to prove it. There is also a dog with pizza eyes and a JJ Callahan sighting.
