FOXDALE PARK ADDISON ILLINOIS

I always love exploring new disc golf courses, and there have been so many new 9-hole courses that have popped up around the Chicagoland area within the last decade (or more) that I haven’t gotten a chance to see yet.

Foxdale Park in Addison Illinois was established in 2012. It is located in a suburban multi-use park. The first three holes play inbetween a walking path and I-290 (so don’t go over the fence for the highway here!). There were tee signs on a few of the holes, but they were missing on the woods holes while we were there.

Every hole here had its own technical challenge, there were some nice wooded shots, and a couple of holes with water.

The O’Hare airport is nearby, we did see a lot of low flying planes directly over the course.

One thing I was really surprised to see our here was the trees! There were some beautiful old growth pines. This was the longest hole on thee course at 350 feet.

The first hole in the woods had two tree forts.

Majority of the holes range from 190 to 300 feet. This first wooded hole was 170 feet.

The old growth pine trees here in the background were almost like identical twins with their forked branches.

Hole 5 shown below is 250 feet.

There was a little bit of poision ivy here, which is very common in Illinois, but not a lot of it.

There are 3 holes where water came into play. On hole 6, the basket is directly across the pond at 290 feet (though I think it may be shorter than that).

Hole 7 has water lining the left side of the fairway, it is very easy to go a little left here into the water.

On hole 8 we saw a return of the tee signs (the tee signs and tee pads both looked like they were brand new, I would not be surprised if we came back anytime soon — and all of the tee signs would be in place)!

The basket is just across the pond here at 210 feet.

Hole 9 did not have a cement tee pad. This was the only hole with a natural tee pad.

We really enjoyed playing this course, it was our favorite out of our 9-hole course tour where we played two new courses, here and Camera Park. We also played Lombard Common which is such a classic.

I love the technical challenge that this course provided and the shorter holes.
