LOMOCHROME PURPLE FILM
Captured during the Clash at The Canyons AMS VI, presented by Dellwood Disc Golf. This is Lomography's LomoChrome Purple 35mm film captured with a Nikon FM2. Film scans and developing were done by Indie Film Lab.
This was my second time using this type of film. The first roll I had captured was in the winter lots of snow on the ground, you can view that blog post and see the difference in the seasons by clicking here.
I knew that summer would be vastly different especially because green turns to purple with this film.
“LomoChrome Purple film lets you explore the color spectrum like never before – Blue becomes green, green becomes purple and yellow becomes pink! Red tones stay red though, which keeps skin tones looking natural in a sea of trippy hues.” (Lomography)
Capturing these moments makes me want to get out and capture more film! I love how rich and organic the quality is. Now that I have this experience, I have a better understanding of how shadows look with this film too, so next time I can get a little more experimental and do longer exposures in areas with dark shadows! Or consider doing night photography too.
