Millsite Disc Golf Course is located in Myrtle Creek, Oregon. This 9-hole disc golf course was designed by Steven Wright, Robert McKim and Kevin Pavlak in 2014.

It is not far from Highway 5 and lines the South Umpqua River. The terrain is relatively flat and moderately wooded, but technical. It is cart friendly and their is an RV Park located just on the other side of the railroad tracks from the course. There are multiple basket locations on each hole, dogs are welcome and the park is dedicated to disc golf.

What makes Millsite Disc Golf course iconic is the bridge that crosses the South Umpqua River. Looking at the basket with the arch of the bridge in the background is so visually mesmerizing.

It is so nice to hang out by the rocks on the river and soak in the sun on a nice day.

The town that Millsite Disc Golf course is located in, Myrtle Creek, got its name for the groves of Oregon Myrtle (also known as California Myrtle or Umbellularia Californica) that grow here. It’s a hardwood tree. The photo below is a bay nut from the Oregon Myrtle.
